Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2026

These terms cover your use of ShipContent. By using the service, you agree to them.

The service

ShipContent connects to repositories you authorize via the GitHub App and generates marketing content from your shipping activity, merged pull requests and published releases. You're responsible for the GitHub repositories you connect and for reviewing generated content before publishing it. In Review mode, ShipContent drafts content and you decide what goes live. If you turn on Auto-publish (Pro), we publish directly to that channel without a manual review step, only enable it for a channel once you're comfortable with that.

Plans and billing

Free requires no card and includes a limited number of generations to try the product. Pro is a paid monthly subscription at the price shown on the Pricing page, taxes included. Stripe is our payment processor and the merchant of record for the subscription, it calculates and collects any tax that applies to you and its name (not ShipContent's) is what shows up on your card statement. We never see or store your card details.

You can cancel anytime from Billing; access continues until the end of the billing period you already paid for, and we don't refund the unused portion of a period. Deleting your account (below) cancels an active subscription immediately instead. We'll give notice before any price or plan-limit change takes effect, changes apply from your next billing cycle, not retroactively.

Your account

Keep your login credentials secure. You're responsible for activity that happens under your account. Let us know right away if you suspect unauthorized access.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use ShipContent to generate or publish unlawful, deceptive, or abusive content.
  • Connect repositories you don't have the right to grant us access to.
  • Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service.
  • Resell or provide the service to third parties without our written consent.

Ownership

You own your repository data and the content ShipContent generates for you. We claim no ownership over either. You grant us the limited right to process your repository data solely to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Termination

You can stop using ShipContent and delete your account at any time from Account settings, this immediately cancels any active Pro subscription too, no separate cancellation step needed. We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these terms or misuse the service.

Limitation of liability

ShipContent is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including content generated by AI providers we integrate with.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. We'll update the date above when we do.
